About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct regular home visits to determine program participant needs
  • Provide skills building, guidance and support to families
  • Participate in crisis intervention and provide support to program participants in resolving problems
  • Provide case planning, linkage, and support services to children, youth, and families
  • Ensure timely and quality documentation of participant services
  • Represent CII at meetings and actively collaborate with others
  • Develop meaningful goals with participants and monitor their progress
  • Tailor services to be accessible, coordinated, appealing, non-stigmatizing, trauma-informed, and developmentally appropriate
  • Advocate on behalf of participants with other agencies
  • Ensure completion of outcome and evaluation testing and reports required by the program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a closely related field
  • Case Management experience preferred
  • Early Childhood Development experience preferred
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families involved in the child welfare system preferred
  • Current enrollment in a Master’s program in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field, with: At least 50% of coursework completed and good academic standing
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in home visitation, child protective services, case management, therapeutic services, or work with children 0-5
  • Valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
