About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and provide technical assistance to cross-sector state coalitions
Ensure coordination of national Fund IRL partner organizations
Develop and distribute action alerts to mobilize coalition members
Maintain coalition engagement tracking systems
Ensure message discipline and consistency across coalition partners
Work with leadership to develop advocacy tools
Conduct regular check-ins with state partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
6–10 years of relevant experience in state-level advocacy, coalition coordination, or public policy related to children and youth
Demonstrated experience building and managing multi-stakeholder coalitions
Experience supporting state advocates, legislative champions, or community-based organizations
Familiarity with legislative tracking and state policy processes
Strong written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Experience working collaboratively with communications firms, legal teams, or other campaign consultants
Deep commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and belonging
Familiarity with common technology platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Suite)
