About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in state-level advocacy, coalition coordination, or public policy related to children and youth
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing multi-stakeholder coalitions
  • Experience supporting state advocates, legislative champions, or community-based organizations
  • Familiarity with legislative tracking and state policy processes
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience working collaboratively with communications firms, legal teams, or other campaign consultants
  • Deep commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and belonging
  • Familiarity with common technology platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Google Suite)
