Interim Senior Learning and Evaluation Manager – Short-Term Consultancy

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to GFC's external reporting and funding development
- Draft and strengthen Learning and Evaluation components within proposals
- Collate evidence for donor and influencing reports
- Ensure that claims reflect what is known, name uncertainty, and respect communities
- Contribute to Salesforce-based outcomes management infrastructure
- Design briefs, frameworks, toolkits, and other formats to make analysis useful
- Support partner-led research processes and provide L&E training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior-level experience in learning and evaluation within philanthropy, intermediary funding, or international social change contexts
- Strong mixed-methods capability — from survey design and statistical analysis to focus groups, narrative inquiry, and participatory sense-making
- Fluency with Theory of Change, logical frameworks, and outcomes mapping
- Experience designing evaluation approaches rooted in decolonial, Indigenous, or community-led frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Fluency in English required. Proficiency in one or more languages of GFC's regions of work strongly preferred — French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or Swahili
