About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and improve the software architecture of CMS applications through industry standard design patterns across the technical stack
- Implement Enterprise Change Management projects by developing, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications, components and interface solutions
- Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high quality code deliverables
- Lead the development of different application modules
- Maintain and develop current and future design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
- Provide technical leadership in the sustained effective delivery of high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate within a small team supporting a federal program, ensuring alignment with complex federal systems that support the provision of healthcare
Requirements
What you’ll need- Public Trust Clearance is required
- Must be a U.S citizen or green card holder (green card holder should be in the country the last 3 out of 5 years)
- Expertise and experience in SQL queries and the development of stored procedures
- Experience working in a federal environment with an understanding of the relationship between team products and complex federal systems
- Solid expertise in the continued development and maintenance of JAVA-based software and in using stored procedures to support content via an existing API
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and a minimum eight (8) years of experience, with a focus on healthcare IT, health data exchange, or interoperability
