Lead Field Service Technician
CherCoLead Field Service Technician responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining natural gas engines and compressors. Requires field service experience around Beaumont, TX, with a high school diploma and 3-5+ years of experience.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshooting, routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on natural gas engines and compressors.
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression units.
- Always represent the Company professionally.
- Responsible for submitting accurate maintenance reports, expense reports, timesheets, and other necessary paperwork daily.
- Inventory control – manages the supply, storage, and accessibility of parts and tools.
- Diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct timely rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls on gas compressor packages in the shop.
- Respond to recurring problems and emergency services, as needed.
- Help coordinate the setting of new units and conduct start-up testing.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3-5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Adequate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications
- Valid Driver’s License.
