About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assemble and test spray systems, tanks, and related equipment in the Yanceyville shop.
- Deliver PavePro chemical products in totes, drums, or concentrate containers.
- Safely unload and transfer products using approved pumps, hoses, and procedures.
- Install chemical storage, pumping, and spray systems at asphalt manufacturing plants.
- Perform preventive maintenance by checking hoses, cleaning filters, inspecting pumps, tightening fittings, and replacing worn components.
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical problems.
- Maintain service records, delivery documentation, and vehicle parts inventory.
- Keep the assigned service vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Help customers keep their systems operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some experience with equipment maintenance, pumps, plumbing or automotive repair.
- At least two years of safe driving experience.
- Ability to operate a heavy-duty pickup or service truck and tow a utility trailer.
- CDL license is not required, but always a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to work independently and follow written safety procedures.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work occasionally on elevated industrial platforms, ladders, and catwalks.
- Full-time availability, primarily Monday through Friday.
- Some early starts and overtime may be required during the paving season.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
