About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop innovative, high-quality, and robust financial applications and microservices.
Work as a member of an Agile Scrum team owning the development and ongoing evolution of a product or platform.
Collaborate with software engineering teams, designers, quantitative analysts, product owners, product managers, and business stakeholders.
Build software using .NET, ASP.NET, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, NServiceBus, and Redis.
Create automated unit, integration, and front-end tests using xUnit, Moq, NSubstitute, Cypress, and Playwright.
Implement and improve build, test, and deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines using Docker, YAML, and GitHub Actions.
Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable software for client-facing products and internal business applications.
Translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. or M.S. studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems
2–5 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience with .NET and C#
Commercial experience with React and JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience working with complex applications
Knowledge of APIs, relational databases, SQL, Git, testing, and CI/CD
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience using AI-assisted development tools
Understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and the software development lifecycle
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Strong collaboration, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to have: Domain-Driven Design, Ruby or Python, microservices or event-driven systems, Docker or Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code tools, Azure services, financial services experience, and distributed-team experience
