About the role
- Provide strategic and operational financial leadership to CRCFO clients in the real estate sector
- Engagements typically range from 0–30 hours per week, depending on client needs and project scope
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA preferred, but not required
- Significant experience in real estate development and construction/renovation
- Acquisitions, property management, asset management, and investments
- Commercial and multi-unit residential properties
- LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience with investor reporting and direct interaction with investors
- Demonstrated leadership overseeing teams responsible for general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, project accounting, asset management
- Advanced experience creating and modernizing cash-flow forecasting models, treasury and liquidity management frameworks, controllership and financial reporting models
- Hands-on experience with real estate systems such as Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium
