About the role

  • Provide strategic and operational financial leadership to CRCFO clients in the real estate sector
  • Engagements typically range from 0–30 hours per week, depending on client needs and project scope

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • Significant experience in real estate development and construction/renovation
  • Acquisitions, property management, asset management, and investments
  • Commercial and multi-unit residential properties
  • LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience with investor reporting and direct interaction with investors
  • Demonstrated leadership overseeing teams responsible for general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, project accounting, asset management
  • Advanced experience creating and modernizing cash-flow forecasting models, treasury and liquidity management frameworks, controllership and financial reporting models
  • Hands-on experience with real estate systems such as Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium
