About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Director of Accreditation plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the consistent application of CHAP standards and regulatory requirements across home and community-based care settings.
  • This position oversees accreditation activities within an assigned specialty and geographic region, collaborates with surveyors (site visitors) and accreditation leaders, and supports decision-making throughout the survey process.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and subject matter expert with deep experience in Medicare-certified home health, hospice, or related community-based healthcare settings.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven leadership experience in home health, hospice, or community-based healthcare.
  • Expertise in accreditation, regulatory compliance, and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
  • A strong commitment to quality improvement and healthcare excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, decision-making, and team leadership skills.
  • A desire to contribute to a nationally recognized accrediting organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required; nursing preferred.
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related discipline preferred.
  • Significant experience in Medicare-certified home health, hospice, or community-based care.
  • Prior accreditation or survey experience is highly desirable.
