About the role
- Identify new financing mechanisms to compensate farmers for the environmental services they provide (preservation of water resources)
- Assess the territory's capacity to adopt these approaches and contribute to their financing
- Foster the development of innovative collective projects that generate added value for local areas and farms
Requirements
- Holder of a BAC+2 (two-year higher education diploma) or an engineering degree
- Prior experience with water–environment issues in agriculture
- Interest in innovative financial support solutions for farmers
- Strategic thinking and business awareness
- Knowledge of the agricultural sector: water–environment challenges
- Project design and development (project engineering)
- Strong writing skills and ability to synthesize information
- Interpersonal skills; ability to lead and facilitate meetings
- Autonomy, strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines
