About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and engage a network of reference farms within the sheep sector
Organize and oversee sheep performance monitoring
Support the sheep sector by organizing training sessions and information days
Provide technical and economic advisory services in sheep farming
Contribute to the implementation of studies and actions as part of the "Plan Ambition Éleveurs"
Participate in studies and projects related to agrivoltaics in sheep farming

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or higher
Engineering background in agriculture is a plus
Strong knowledge of sheep husbandry and production
Excellent interpersonal skills
Confident oral communicator
Good listening skills
Proactive and energetic
Rigour and a methodical approach
Good ability to synthesize information
Basic accounting knowledge
Strong analytical and writing skills
