About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide system/production support and monitoring for applications, batch cycles, releases, projects, implementations, installations, and related activities
  • Participate in work sessions for system support and problem resolution
  • Perform or support installation, configuration, administration, implementation, scheduling, and tuning/modification of applications
  • Provide support for simple to moderate system/production performance concerns
  • Collaborate with internal groups and external vendors to ensure specifications are met and problems are resolved
  • Monitor and report on scheduled batch and online applications for successful or unsuccessful execution
  • Run necessary system backups as needed
  • Review and/or create documentation for accuracy, future problems, and company standards
  • Perform testing responsibilities as needed
  • Review abnormal results and issues from previous processing cycles and verify logging and resolution
  • Communicate with application on-call personnel to repair applications that ended abnormally
  • Perform corrective actions or notify the appropriate area for resolution
  • Consult with senior-level peers on more complex projects
  • Participate in work sessions and walkthroughs for quality and production implementations, releases, data conversion projects, and disaster recovery exercises

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a job-related field
  • Alternatively, an associate degree plus 2 additional years of job-related experience for 4 total years, or 6 total years of required work experience
  • 2 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, programming, or other job-related IT experience
  • Comprehension of data storage techniques, basic database philosophy, database management, and simple programming techniques
  • Understanding of production-system maintenance requirements and the effects of program changes
  • Understanding of structured techniques in new program development
  • Understanding of development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and/or development/productivity tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, batch processes, and system performance
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server environments and basic SQL usage
  • Ability to create or maintain clear technical documentation
  • Experience supporting or administering Hyland OnBase preferred
  • Preferred certifications: Hyland Certified: OnBase Administrator Professional; CompTIA Certified: A+; Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
