About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits on client websites using on-site best practices
- Implement and optimize SEO and AEO strategies on CGI-built WordPress (Divi) websites
- Execute SEO / AEO improvements on third-party CMS platforms (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Wix, Weebly, etc.)
- Perform ongoing keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization
- Manage SEO campaigns using SEMrush Core and/or SEMrush Enterprise
- Monitor rankings, technical health, and performance metrics using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush
- Translate data insights into actionable strategies for the Account Team
- Present emerging SEO and AI search trends, updates, and algorithm changes on a bi-monthly basis
- Work with the SEO Team Manager to develop and refine internal SEO processes to improve efficiency and client outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of SEO or digital marketing experience
- Proven experience executing and managing local SEO campaigns
- Understanding of AEO and what drives AI / LLM visibility
- Hands-on experience with SEMrush Core and/or SEMrush Enterprise
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO toolsets
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with performance data
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Familiarity with AI tools (GPTs, Agents, etc.)
