About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct and publish forensic accounting research on specific companies and industries for institutional investor clients
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, including rigorous financial statement analysis and interpretation of company-specific and sector-specific data
- Complete bespoke research requests
- Maintain industry-specific dashboards
- Respond to ad hoc client inquiries
- Communicate research findings and views virtually and in person
- Analyze U.S. Healthcare public company financial data, news, and other information to identify risks
- Publish reports detailing research findings for investment managers, hedge funds, and other clients
- Communicate with clients about analyzed companies, industry issues, and accounting topics
- Collaborate with U.S., European, and industry-specific sector teams
- Perform custom research projects for clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or with a corporate credit ratings agency
- Experience researching, analyzing, or auditing companies
- Strong background in financial statement analysis
- Strong knowledge of and interest in financial markets
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Experienced presentation delivery, including comfort discussing analysis and methodology face-to-face with prospects and clients
- Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings and internal events
- Education and professional experience in accounting/auditing preferred
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus
