About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct and publish forensic accounting research on specific companies and industries for institutional investor clients
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, including rigorous financial statement analysis and interpretation of company-specific and sector-specific data
Complete bespoke research requests
Maintain industry-specific dashboards
Respond to ad hoc client inquiries
Communicate research findings and views virtually and in person
Analyze U.S. Healthcare public company financial data, news, and other information to identify risks
Publish reports detailing research findings for investment managers, hedge funds, and other clients
Communicate with clients about analyzed companies, industry issues, and accounting topics
Collaborate with U.S., European, and industry-specific sector teams
Perform custom research projects for clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or with a corporate credit ratings agency
Experience researching, analyzing, or auditing companies
Strong background in financial statement analysis
Strong knowledge of and interest in financial markets
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well within a team environment
Experienced presentation delivery, including comfort discussing analysis and methodology face-to-face with prospects and clients
Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings and internal events
Education and professional experience in accounting/auditing preferred
CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus
