About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, monitor, and provide support for Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Ensure database availability, integrity, security, and performance.
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries to improve performance.
- Monitor application performance across development, staging (homologation), and production environments.
- Propose data modeling improvements to optimize performance.
- Perform data loading and migration between environments.
- Assess the impact of database changes and propose technical solutions.
- Support the implementation of database administration solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
- Experience administering and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS).
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization (performance tuning).
- Experience in relational and multidimensional database modeling.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
- Experience with Relational, Analytical, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of DDL, DML, and DCL.
- Experience with table partitioning techniques.
- Experience with Very Large Databases (VLDB).
- Ability to analyze impacts and implement changes in database environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology;
- Or a bachelor's degree in any field, provided it is accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology with a minimum workload of 360 hours.
