About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, monitor, and provide support for Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Ensure database availability, integrity, security, and performance.
Analyze and optimize SQL queries to improve performance.
Monitor application performance across development, staging (homologation), and production environments.
Propose data modeling improvements to optimize performance.
Perform data loading and migration between environments.
Assess the impact of database changes and propose technical solutions.
Support the implementation of database administration solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
Experience administering and supporting Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization (performance tuning).
Experience in relational and multidimensional database modeling.
Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
Experience with Relational, Analytical, and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of DDL, DML, and DCL.
Experience with table partitioning techniques.
Experience with Very Large Databases (VLDB).
Ability to analyze impacts and implement changes in database environments.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology;
Or a bachelor's degree in any field, provided it is accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's, or doctorate) in Information Technology with a minimum workload of 360 hours.
