About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Keep data models and logical and physical structures up to date;
Ensure consistency, quality and governance of data and metadata;
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of data-related automation solutions;
Monitor the implementation of data models and the quality of databases;
Work with BI, Big Data, data integration, metrics and dashboards;
Support performance analysis and very large database (VLDB) environments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology;
or
Bachelor's degree in any field, provided it is complemented by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology with a minimum duration of 360 hours.
Experience with conceptual, logical, physical, relational and multidimensional modeling;
Knowledge of normalization, consistency and reduction of data redundancy;
Experience with data security and access controls;
Knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML and DCL);
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases;
Experience with ETL, data integration and DBMS technologies;
Knowledge of BI, Analytics and data visualization tools;
Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data (JSON, XML, CSV, TXT, among others);
Knowledge of performance analysis and table partitioning.
Certification in databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, SAP or MySQL.
