About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain active monitoring of public and private markets to identify strategic opportunities
- Analyze tender documents and assess technical, financial and contractual feasibility
- Set priorities and select bids to pursue in coordination with management
- Prepare or supervise cost estimates for projects
- Work closely with site engineers, estimating teams, design offices and the legal department
- Lead the preparation of technical proposals
- Develop financial offers, ensuring a balance between competitiveness and profitability
- Ensure administrative and regulatory compliance of bid dossiers
- Present and defend commercial proposals to clients and contracting authorities
- Conduct negotiations through to contract award
- Monitor bids and capture lessons learned
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, local authorities, design offices and industrial partners
- Attend industry events and sector committees
- Contribute to the company’s reputation and strategic positioning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Public Works or Building, or a Master’s degree (M2) in Civil Engineering / Infrastructure / Public Works
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial or project management role within construction, civil engineering or public works
- Proven experience with public and private tender procedures
- Strong knowledge of public and private procurement and tender processes
- Solid expertise in cost estimation
- Excellent understanding of technical, contractual and financial issues
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong negotiation and project management skills
- Dynamic, proactive and results-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills
- Autonomous, rigorous and able to prioritize
- Team spirit and sense of responsibility
