About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop new hardware in the field of optronics
Participate in the development and refinement of new products within a project team
Design new equipment or evolve in-service systems
Integrate optical, electronic, and mechanical aspects
Design the optical components of projects in compliance with aerospace standards (EN9100)
Produce technical documentation (specifications, design justifications, optical tolerancing, qualification plans)
Participate in the redesign of equipment during the series production phase

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree (Bac+5) or engineering degree in Optics / Optronics (examples: IOGS, ENS Paris‑Saclay, CentraleSupélec, INSA Lyon, ESEO, Télécom Physique Strasbourg, etc.)
Minimum 8 years' experience in a highly regulated industrial environment (aerospace, space, defense, biomedical or equivalent)
Proficiency with LED technologies (low to high power, white/visible and infrared)
Knowledge of optical solutions for photometry (sizing of sources, diffusers, reflectors, collimators, Fresnel lenses, filters)
Expertise in photometric instrumentation (spectroradiometer, videophotometer)
Familiarity with methodologies for industrializing optical systems
Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Software; Methods, Testing, Quality, etc.)
Fluency in English is essential for projects and interactions with international clients.
