Design and implement advanced network solutions within corporate LAN/WAN environments.
Lead day-to-day operational activities, manage and supervise the work of assigned staff, oversee multiple advanced in-house projects from start to end
Establish and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure network equipment is hardened and secured; design and perform network performance and security audits; manage all network security solutions to include data protections and recovery strategies
Lead the integration of Cisco and Juniper systems, TCP/IP protocols, VoIP technologies, and secure routing/switching.
Develop and maintain cable plant designs including fiber optic infrastructure and firewall configurations.
Oversee the full systems development lifecycle from requirements through design, coding, testing, rollout, and ongoing maintenance.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate network operating systems, applications, and hardware into cohesive solutions.
Ensure performance, scalability, and security in all network and systems architecture.
Requirements
Six (6) years of professional work and leadership experience in relation to design and implementation in local area network (LAN)/ wide area network (WAN) DoD environments using Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP and VoIP technologies with routers, switches, fiber optics, firewalls and cable plant designs. Demonstrable experience in writing business/project plans, technical documents, presentations and proposals required. Individual must have high degree of skills with the MS Office toolsets. Candidate will work on-site. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field is preferred. DoD 8570 IAT III. One of the following certifications is required - CASP CE - CCNP Security - CISA - CISSP or CISSP Associate - GCED - GCIH
