About the role
- Oversee electricians, subcontractors and site operatives.
- Plan daily tasks, manage labour, materials and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to verify quality and compliance.
- Enforce H&S standards, toolbox talks and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and BS 7671.
- Work closely with PMs, engineers and main contractors.
- Track progress against programme and provide weekly reporting.
- Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Act as the on-site point of contact.
- Attend project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage site budgets, variations and material usage.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of electrical materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical construction management.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards and practices.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to drive productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- ECS/CSCS card.
- SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
- 18th Edition Regulations.
- Experience with Primavera P6 or Procore is desirable.
