About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle complex data requests, reports, and predictive data modeling
- Analyze health management programs, including data collection, validation, and outcome measurement
- Analyze financial, pharmacy, claims, provider, and member data
- Perform internal data cleansing and data reconciliation analysis
- Conduct trend analysis in various functional areas of health care management
- Create and generate reports through MS-Excel, MS-Access, and SQL
- Produce reports for and interface with senior management and internal and external stakeholders
- Gather and interpret business requirements and monitor data trends to proactively identify issues
- Execute data changes and update core systems as needed
- Handle multiple projects and timelines effectively
- Communicate risks and issues to the manager regularly
- Assist with training lower-level Data Analysts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience
- Experience with Python highly preferred
- Intermediate SQL writing skills, including joins and staging, highly preferred
- Ability to handle multiple projects and timelines effectively
- Ability to communicate risks and issues to the manager regularly
