Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes
Provide expertise and technical support in matters related to the successful and financially sound operations of the company's health plan businesses
Shape Value-Based Care (VBC) strategies, vendor arrangements, and contract design
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure VBC strategies are analytically sound and operationally feasible
Research and identify new business opportunities
Work with Medicare/marketplace and Medicaid teams to assess impact of program/policy changes
Apply knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, principles of finance and business to calculate financial outcomes
Oversee health plan experience, identify trends and recommend improvements
Lead the development of sophisticated financial models to assess financial risk and opportunity

Requirements

What you’ll need

ASA or FSA designation required
Bachelor’s degree or higher required
5+ years of actuarial experience required
Previous management experience preferred
Experience with vendors and vendor arrangements preferred
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Teradata, Snowflake, and/or SAS preferred
Experience working with claims and revenue data and analyzing trends preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
