About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manages the technical approach and decisions for the configuration of software and infrastructure services on the cloud platform
Manages cloud infrastructure as code
Automates deployment and administration
Develops plan to ensure security of cloud components
Partners with the DevOps team for upgrades, enhancements, and software migrations
Leads a team of engineers for cloud-based environments
Establishes and develops code-based CI/CD deployment plans
Implements monitoring solutions for cloud environments
Ensures the execution and completion of capacity plans
Develops and implements design, build, and deploy cloud applications
Delivers continuous integration and delivery pipeline with DevSecOps tooling

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
5 – 7 years of related experience
Experience with Azure and Amazon Web Services
Strong knowledge of IaC and automation
Experience with one or more of the following: Gitlab, Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Cloud Deployment Manager
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, Swarm, etc.
Knowledge of automation languages such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Packer, etc.
Experience with ARM templates (Azure Resource Manager templates)
