About the role
- Support business process documentation, operational analysis, and improvement initiatives across multiple teams
- Document current-state business processes through meeting notes, workflow diagrams, and written procedures
- Review existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and format compliance
- Support updates to process libraries and SharePoint repositories
- Participate in meetings with operational teams to observe and learn how requirements are gathered and clarified
- Help track action items, risks, and open questions from meetings and work sessions
- Perform basic data review or analysis to support process improvement efforts (e.g., identifying trends, duplicates, or gaps)
- Develop simple visuals such as process flowcharts, checklists, or summary documents
- Support project coordination activities including scheduling, status updates, and documentation follow-ups
- Conduct quality checks on documentation and deliverables before submission or publication
- Learn and follow standard governance, naming conventions, and approval processes
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, Analytics, Health Administration, or a related field
- Interest in business analysis, operations, process improvement, or project management
- Prior internship, coursework, or project experience in a business or analytical role is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to organize information clearly and accurately
- Experience with or interest in learning process mapping or documentation tools (Visio)
- Basic analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data review
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take notes during meetings and summarize discussion points clearly
- Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification
- Ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders at different levels
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance
- Reliable and able to meet deadlines
- Willingness to receive feedback and apply learning quickly
