About the role

  • Develop and lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across the organization.
  • Partner with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to drive financial accountability and improve cloud efficiency.
  • Develop forecasting models that align cloud economics with business outcomes.
  • Monitor cloud usage across AWS and MS Azure; analyze spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize cloud spend across teams and business units.
  • Build and maintain financial models to forecast cloud spend and track against budget.
  • Create executive-level reporting that connects cloud economics to business outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance to develop cost allocation methodologies and bridge technical-financial gaps.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 – 4 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and data driven financial analysis.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their cost structures.
  • Experience in implementing strategies such as rightsizing, reserved instances, savings plans and storage/network optimization.
  • Familiarity with FinOps frameworks and enterprise scale information systems management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
