About the role
- Responsible for revenue reporting and billing submission
- Assist with obtaining necessary documents for internal and external audits
- Review and verify manual and automated refund requests
- Work with the Accounting team to validate and record member write-offs
- Assist with Medicaid premium, kick payment and stop loss billing
- Assist with the reconciliation of denied payments
- Review and process Stop payments and reconcile Lockbox payments
- Review Medicaid Remit Lag reports for accuracy and investigate anomalies
- Compile chart account information to ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and accurate
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related experience
- 1-2 years accounts receivable experience
- Knowledge of healthcare processes in managed care preferred
- Advanced Excel or Power BI skills
- Working experience with SQL or Snowflake preferred but not required
- Highly motivated, self-starter, full of initiative, team player
