About the role
- Act as counsel to health Plan President & CEO by establishing business processes and governance structure
- Lead strategic initiatives and projects related to business governance structure to optimize business performance
- Organize and prioritize key board and committee activities to facilitate efficient decision making
- Conduct research, establish committees, and determine topics and metrics
- Investigate risks determine corrective action plans
- Act as a liaison between the PP&CEO and executive staff by facilitating information flow
- Provide feedback and draft key communications to reflect the PP&CEO’s position
- Support executive staff needs in their ability to raise critical issues with the PP&CEO and receive needed responses, guidance and decisions
- Suspend activities when projects or commitments are not in alignment with PP&CEO directives/commitments
- Initiate reviews on staffing structures or external spends in order to mitigate unnecessary financial impact
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field required
- 10+ years of project management, strategic and financial analysis experience required
- Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff required
- Previous experience in Federal government contracting preferred
