About the role
- Assist in maintaining Centene Corporation’s Compliance Program
- Provide regulatory interpretation and perform compliance reporting
- Lead special projects and develop compliance auditing strategies
- Respond to inquiries from state and federal regulatory agencies
- Manage compliance reporting responsibilities
- Communicate state and federal requirements to clients
- Assist in annual code of conduct attestation
- Perform periodic compliance audits and risk assessments
- Assist health plans in managing relations with regulatory agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related legal field or equivalent experience
- Master’s or Juris Doctorate degree preferred
- 3+ years of related experience in compliance privacy and/or regulatory affairs
- Experience in project management with working knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations
