About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in areas including claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, and external reporting
- Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources
- Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions
- Elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to management
- Develop reports and deliverables for management
- Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data warehouse analytical tools
- Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements through data quality audits and analysis
- Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts
- Handle complex data projects and act as a lead for other Data Analysts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Advanced SQL and Power BI skills, including writing code, stored procedures, and SSIS packages preferred
- Experience creating Power BI dashboards preferred
- Experience utilizing Snowflake, Control-M, and enterprise reporting preferred
- Experience leading projects and teams preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Experience managing projects or heavy involvement in project implementation
