About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with Electrical and Instrumentation projects, including but not limited to Feasibility study, FEED, data collection, equipment specification, redlines/update drawings/documents, scope of work development, and engineering package review
  • Provide Electrical, Instrumentation, PLC, and SIS field support for maintenance/troubleshooting, construction, testing, commissioning, and start-up
  • Streamline preventive maintenance optimization, report review, work package development, and work notification generation for corrective actions and follow-up
  • Assist with PLC and SIS troubleshooting, engineering, programming, and loop check
  • Assist with reliability studies and failure investigations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
  • Available to begin work in September 2026.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Solid analytical and Microsoft Suite skills, specifically Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, judgement, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be enrolled in an Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related Engineering degree at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
