About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and support reimbursement products and processes across Innomar
- Support the Director, Reimbursement in communicating and positioning reimbursement products
- Provide reimbursement expertise to the New Business Development team
- Develop payer-specific prior authorization journeys and identify streamlining and automation opportunities
- Drive development and implementation of advocacy, appeals toolkit, and conversion products
- Manage and advise on financial assistance navigation best practices and processes
- Identify and promote innovative reimbursement solutions and strategic initiatives
- Conduct competitive market research on payer strategies and best practices
- Facilitate best-practice sharing with Programs’ Reimbursement Specialists and Managers
- Monitor reimbursement projects for performance improvement and achievement
- Lead collaborative relationships with Programs, pharmacy, and Learning and Development
- Review program data, validate coverage and reimbursement status, identify coverage issues, and recommend process solutions
- Develop tracking, reporting, and solutioning processes for emerging reimbursement issues
- Establish KPIs and metrics for payer relations activities and generate reports for senior management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in a PSP environment or payer environment
- Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
- Deep expertise in Canadian public and private payer environments
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills; proven collaborator
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Office programs
- Strong working knowledge of CRM platforms
