About the role
- Define & manage project scope, objectives, deliverables and develop project plans
- Manage cross-functional delivery teams including solution architects, developers, analysts, testers, and change managers
- Apply structured methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
- Mentor, and manage a team of consultants and specialists
- Proactively identify project risks, issues, and change requests
- Maintain project health metrics and governance documentation
- Manage budgets, forecasts, resource allocations, and vendor contracts
- Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback loops
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management
- Significant focus on the utilities, energy, telecom, or oil & gas industries
- Experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies in SaaS companies or with system integrators
- Proven track record of leading and delivering on complex international projects
- Experience in gathering customer requirements, prioritizing product backlogs, and developing budgets and project schedules
- Skilled in drafting and issuing comprehensive Statements of Work (SoW)
- Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience in team building and leadership
- Ability to inspire and develop talent
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel to client site (domestic and(or) international) as required
