About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program
- Provide instruction through traditional lecture-style delivery and integrated laboratory elements
- Bring real-life professional Mechanical Engineering experience into the classroom
- Integrate Christian faith and biblical principles in and out of the classroom
- Teach on a temporary, part-time basis during the academic year as instructional needs arise
- Support Cedarville University's educational mission and development of highly skilled Mechanical Engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- At least 5 years of professional engineering experience in a relevant area of Mechanical Engineering
- Proven ability to effectively communicate subject material to students and relate with students and colleagues
- Commitment to biblical integration in and out of the classroom
- Must be a born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ
- Must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and General Work Place Standards
- Successful completion of a background check
- Verification of credentials and other information required by law
