About the role

  • Creating high quality illustrations in collaboration with the Art Director and other artists on the team utilizing 3D & +2D workflow.
  • Capability to paint over 3D renders, achieving a high standard of digital painting quality, switching between a synthetic 3D aesthetic and a highly painterly style.
  • Ability to switch between Witcher and Cyberpunk IPs.
  • Being responsible for original ideas and composition of illustrations.
  • Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines.
  • Sharing pipelines and knowledge with the rest of the team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent illustration and storytelling skills with an eye for perspective, color, lighting, mood and composition.
  • Strong skills in realistic and painterly illustration proven by appropriate portfolio.
  • Ability to efficiently switch between different styles and projects on a daily basis.
  • Advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D software: Adobe Photoshop, Blender, Maya, Zbrush or other 3D software workflow as a base.
  • A focus on character art, demonstrating an understanding of dynamic poses and lively expressions.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work closely with the team, providing and receiving feedback effectively.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate in English.
