About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, coordinate and implement security solutions
Provide strategic and operational advisory services to clients on information security, ISMS and regulatory requirements (in particular NIS2)
Manage measures to ensure the sustainable implementation of security concepts
Establish, develop and document ISMS according to ISO/IEC 27001 / ISO 2700x
Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments and maturity assessments
Prepare for and support ISO 27001 certifications and internal/external audits
Implement and assess NIS2 requirements including governance, risk management and reporting processes
Prepare for and support regulatory assessments and audits (e.g., NIS2)
Design and deliver training and awareness programs
Establish and enhance incident management and contingency/emergency response concepts
Create contingency plans and security policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of hands-on experience in information security consulting and the ISMS environment (senior level)
Proven experience in project and risk management
Solid knowledge of ISO/IEC 2700x and practical experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., NIS2, KRITIS (critical infrastructure))
Experience working with KRITIS organizations (critical infrastructure) is a plus
Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
Confident and professional presentation skills and client-facing presence
Strong communicator, reliable, self-directed and with a good understanding of processes
Willingness to travel across Germany for regular on-site client assignments
Certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO 22301 (Lead) Implementer/Auditor, NIS2 Coordinator / NIS2 Officer are advantageous
