About the role

  • Support of purchasing for goods and services and related tenders in close coordination with the specialist departments
  • Process management from order initiation and monitoring through to incoming goods inspection, as well as preparation of reports and analyses
  • Negotiation with new service providers regarding contracts, terms and framework agreements
  • Management of the contract administration process, contract controlling and resolution of contract issues
  • Preparation of customer invoices based on available order and service data
  • Verification of incoming invoices for formal, substantive and arithmetical accuracy
  • Maintenance and updating of billing-relevant data in our ERP system
  • Proactive development and implementation of commodity group and procurement strategies as well as identification and realization of optimization potential

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training
  • Professional experience in a purchasing/procurement department
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Confident and assertive manner
  • Empathy and social skills
  • Secure command of English
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good proficiency with MS Office products
