About the role
- Provide outsourced Controller and CFO services and manage special projects
- Serve as primary point of contact with clients and maintain client relationship
- Focus on quality and efficiency in review and release of recurring projects
- Assist clients with strategic management decisions and evaluate tax strategy implications in collaboration with Tax and Assurance
- Act as strategic consultant to help clients understand financial impacts of management decisions
- Analyze financial reports and develop customized KPIs and metrics aligned to client goals
- Work with clients on-site to clean, review, and utilize financial statements for business direction
- Regularly check in with clients to gauge satisfaction and address concerns
- Business development: bring in new clients and expand services with existing clients
- Set project expectations, provide feedback, and oversee project workload management
- Mentor Client Advisory Services team members, coach on quality and efficiency, and assist with problem solving
- Regularly look for process improvements and communicate ideas proactively
- Adhere to relevant information security policies to protect sensitive data
- Perform all other job responsibilities as assigned
Requirements

- Comprehensive accounting knowledge with strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and internal controls
- Proficient in Excel and able to work with complex forecasting models
- Technologically proficient and able to translate software skills across multiple platforms
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work beyond standard hours to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another related subject area
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience (i.e. accounting, advisory, consulting)
- Public accounting experience preferred
- CPA or CPA eligible
- Experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) preferred
- Must be based closer to either of the offices - Tulsa, OK OR Frisco, Tx
