About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and develop Business Development Manager sales skills for more effective business growth strategies
- Accompany Business Managers on development calls
- Set business strategies and methods of marketing penetration while showcasing CBIZ’s competitive market distinction
- Participate in new business forecasting, planning, and goal-setting
- Share in the development of the sales team
- Maintain current sales and marketing campaigns designed to grow business
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and existing client referrals
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Meet annual sales goals if applicable to the position
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's of business administration or equivalent; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience required
- Established business relationships in the local business community
