About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute workplans for dispute engagements, forensic accounting investigations, and business valuation engagements.
- Complete detailed calculations, such as economic damages in complex litigation matters.
- Assist with the preparation of client deliverables, including presentations, expert witness reports and accompanying exhibits, trial demonstratives, etc.
- Assist with managing client relationships, including serving as a primary point of contact.
- Complete research: industry, business, technical accounting and economic damage guidance, etc.
- Balance multiple client engagements and other responsibilities.
- Proactively communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels of the engagement team.
- Participate in training, staff development, and building an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
- Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- CPA candidates preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
