Corporate Counsel – Benefits & Insurance Services

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide central office legal support to draft, review, negotiate and manage new and existing contracts and account relationships, business and vendor relationships across all CBIZ Property & Casualty and Life Insurance practice groups
- Ability to utilize DocuSign, Docuware, Sagitta and Salesforce
- RFP support for all practice areas
- Assist with acquisition issues
- Develop and implement workflow process with a focus on improvements through AI
- Primary legal support to Property & Casualty when CBIZ is the Client (contracts and disputes)
- Maintain contract templates
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Graduate or specialty degree preferred
- 8 years experience
- 6 years supervisory experience (if applicable)
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
