About the role
- Successfully manage and deliver large, high-value, complex projects related to corporate and service line data and reporting projects as scoped, on-time, and within budget.
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to identify activities, deliverables, and milestones for the schedule and to estimate and assign required tasks necessary to complete the project. Perform project risk assessment and select and implement appropriate risk strategies.
- Document and own projects with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and hold the developers / analysts accountable for keeping ADO updated with specific jobs, tasks and bugs.
- Manage release cycles in ADO, ensuring all release items are approved and properly documented for ongoing change management and communication.
- Actively identify and seek resolution of issues that are impacting progress of projects.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and oversee project communication plans that ensure appropriate level of communication with executives, internal colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Direct and coordinate activities of all parties involved in the project to ensure that the project progresses on time, completely and accurately with a high satisfaction rate from the project stakeholders.
- Accurately forecast project ROI and OKRs and report on status, risks, and progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for Leadership.
- Prepare status reports along-side project team and modify schedules or plans as required.
- Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher capability maturity in project and portfolio management.
- Manage multiple projects at a time, including those that may be assigned outside of the BI&DI team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- At least 6 years of related experience required
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, or Management Information Systems is preferred
- PMP preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with business stakeholders and leaders, IT project planning, delivery, and execution using Traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies
- Experience with VSTS, Jira, and/or other team/project collaboration tools
- Ability to work in and lead a team, while communicating and coordinating with peer teams
- Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
