About the role
- Managing staff on assigned deliverables
- Completing reviews of tax filings as a member of the final review team
- Identifying client issues and conflicts
- Performing analysis and planning of tax engagements
- Preparing financial statements and tax filings
- Supervising, training and mentoring less experienced accounting staff
- Participating in new client development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- CPA license or equivalent certification
- 5 years of experience working as an accountant or in a related occupation
- 3 years managing other accountants
- 5 years of experience working with GAAP
- 5 years of experience preparing financial statements and tax filings
- 5 years of experience performing public accounting
