About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide personal care to clients in their home, and may assist them to mobilize and perform light exercises
Assist clients with personal care, lifts and transfers, toileting, bathing, and feeding
Provide light housekeeping support, prepare meals, and be a companion
Observe, document, and report any changes in clients' condition to Manager/Supervisor
Support clients to be as safe and independent in their homes as possible

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active License and in good standing with the CLHA
A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen within the last 6 months
Proof of a negative TB test within your lifetime
Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
Commitment to work every other weekend
Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with ability to communicate in other languages an asset
Reliability and strong organization skills
Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. (16 kg)
