About the role
- Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling workers compensation claims on behalf of our clients.
- Communicating with a wide variety of individuals, including CEOs, claimants, provider offices, and attorneys.
- Handling claims in multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
- License/state experience in California and holds SIP.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.
