About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Solution Engineer Working Student (m/f/d) at Caya, you are part of the Product team and help implement and continuously develop automation and digitalization projects with customers.
  • Your primary responsibility will be our technical automation management — you will independently maintain and set up automation projects for our exciting enterprise clients.
  • In collaboration with our Customer Success team, you identify friction points in customers’ experience with Caya and develop appropriate (technical) solution approaches.
  • You use no-code and low-code tools to automate customers’ processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You bring a proactive, curious attitude — you love figuring things out and improving them.
  • You already have experience in a technical or business-oriented role (bonus if you have worked in SaaS, consulting, or product-focused environments).
  • You are studying Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have a solid technical (software) understanding regarding JavaScript / TypeScript / Python.
  • You describe yourself as customer-, team- and service-oriented and communicate comfortably in both German and English.
  • You have a confident command of automation tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Make.com, or similar platforms).
  • You are familiar with Claude Code and Claude Skills.
