Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with and provide in depth data driven financial analysis to the Transportation, Planning and Allocation, and Ecommerce Operations teams.
Complete an annual operating budget to be reviewed by digital strategy, FP&A and supply chain leadership.
Manage financial forecasts and actual results of Ecommerce Delivery expenses.
Provide perspective on what key performance indicators would have the most meaningful impact to the business and support operations partners in delivering an efficient balance between cost and service.
Assist the Supply Chain Finance team with a strategic view and forecasts of merchandise volume flows.
Partner with cross functional areas of the company to assess, analyze, and deploy transformation initiatives.
Establish comprehensive financial and performance metric reporting.
Conduct reviews of performance reports and dashboards.
Create and maintain SQL code used to query Oracle Databases.
Communicate results with Ecommerce Planning and Allocation teams.
Create and maintain MS Access Database.
Create and maintain Dashboards for Truck and Small Parcel shipping and handling.
Audit Carrier invoice data for completeness and accuracy.
Complete adhoc analyses for contract updates or service model changes.
Establish new metrics with which to evaluate business performance and improve expense forecast accuracy.
Manage accounting operations for $250M of Ecom shipping and handling expense.
Prepare presentations for various audiences.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration or closely related field.
3 years of experience in financial analysis and logistics or supply chain related occupations.
CLTD certification (Certified Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution).
MS Excel to build dashboards and perform adhod analyses.
SQL and Python programming languages to select and reformat data.
MS Access including creating and managing a database (create and update tables, write queries, etc.).
Data Analyses including interpretation of complex data sets and identifying relationships from disparate data sources.
