Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and maintain all color processes
Direct and update color certification programs
Research and present trend and color stories
Deliver timely lab dip and 1st bulk color approvals
Promptly file all lab dips & bulk systematically
Responsible for maintaining and managing the Color Library
Collaborate with design on color matching market samples
Partner with buyers & design on incoming color issues
Create digital color palettes in PLM
Order color standards & maintain the color inventory
Lead & orchestrate special projects to support strategic color initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-year College degree preferred.
7+ years (post-graduation) related experience in color evaluation and development
Ability to pass the Munsell Hue color test to determine visual color acuity
Extensive knowledge of color science, ability to evaluate results and perform analysis of the colorimetric data, reflectance curves and dye recipes
Experience using color QC software and spectrophotometer
Excellent organizational, communication and decision-making skills
High sense of urgency and initiative
Proven experience building working relationships with cross-functional teams
Strong reporting and analytical skills
Computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; Flex PLM experience is highly preferred.
