About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and document end ‑ to ‑ end global trade compliance processes — including classification, valuation, country of origin, licensing, sanctions screening, import/export execution, and duty reconciliation — to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with compliance, logistics , customs brokers, finance, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to translate regulatory and operational needs into clear functional requirements for ERP, GTM, and trade compliance applications.
- Support configuration and optimization of global trade systems (e.g., tariff classification, trade agreements, bonded inventory, FTZ/IMMEX, automated filings, and audit controls) to reduce compliance risk, duty exposure, and cycle time.
- Develop and validate business rules, data models, KPIs, and reports related to trade accuracy, audit readiness, duty savings, and regulatory performance, while leading UAT and change activities to ensure adoption of standard, repeatable compliance processes.
- Gathers and documents user/client requirements, supports the development and testing of new products or services, collects feedback from clients, and recommends improvements.
- Assisting in the development, testing, and delivery of services/products; Analyzing existing offerings, preparing technical documentation, and recommending upgrades.
- Conducting market research to do a comparative analysis of competitor offerings and provide recommendations for developing a more effective product/service.
- Identifying user/client requirements for a product or service and defining technical specifications; Preparing technical documentation and sharing them with senior analysts and technical teams.
- Supporting senior analysts by fulfilling their data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance; Participating in initiatives to improve processes efficiency and employee productivity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of years of experience
- MBA in supply chain management or related area
- ERP LN / Baan Vc or other ERP and GTM experience
