About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and lead Casepoint’s enterprise Governance & Compliance strategy, ensuring scalable governance practices that support business growth and customer trust.
  • Own enterprise privacy, compliance, AI governance, information governance, and corporate policy programs.
  • Establish governance frameworks for emerging technologies, including responsible AI, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership to proactively identify, assess, and manage regulatory, contractual, operational, and technology-related risks.
  • Provide executive oversight of the contracts function by partnering with the Director of Government Contracts on strategy, governance, risk management, and operational priorities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, Security, Legal, Engineering, and Customer Success to enable growth while balancing business objectives with appropriate governance.
  • Develop executive reporting, governance metrics, and compliance dashboards to support informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement through scalable processes, automation, and technology-enabled governance solutions.
  • Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices, recommending proactive enhancements to governance programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in governance, privacy, compliance, information governance, contracts, technology risk, or related disciplines.
  • Experience building and leading enterprise governance or compliance programs within a SaaS, technology, cybersecurity, GovTech, or other regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing governance frameworks for emerging technologies, including AI.
  • Strong understanding of privacy regulations, enterprise compliance, risk management, and governance best practices.
  • Experience collaborating across Legal, Security, Finance, Product, Engineering, and commercial organizations.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience overseeing or partnering with contracts, procurement, or legal functions is preferred.
  • Advanced degree, such as a JD, MBA, Doctorate, or related field, preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CISA, PMP, CRISC, or similar preferred.
  • Experience supporting public sector, highly regulated, or enterprise SaaS organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, information governance, FedRAMP, NIST, privacy engineering, or cybersecurity frameworks preferred.
