About the role

  • Lead a team of developers and specialists across both legacy and modern platforms (high and low platform).
  • Conduct management routines: one-on-one meetings, IDP (Individual Development Plan), time tracking, and CAPEX/OPEX management.
  • Prioritize the backlog in partnership with Product, ensuring smooth workflows and predictable deliveries.
  • Monitor performance indicators and OKRs, providing diagnostics and action plans.
  • Serve as the team’s technical reference, supporting decisions and guidance during incidents and crises.
  • Assess end-to-end technical flows and guide high-platform (mainframe) specialists.
  • Lead discussions on architecture, integrations and system behavior.
  • Support technological modernization initiatives, including migration from high to low platforms and cloud adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Product, Channels, Finance, Collections and Technology.
  • Produce executive-level reports for management and the board.
  • Participate in ceremonies, technology rituals and strategic alignment sessions.

Requirements

  • Previous technical management experience (minimum 1 year).
  • Background as a Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or Specialist prior to moving into management.
  • Ability to discuss solutions, technical flows, integrations and architecture.
  • Experience leading software development teams.
  • Experience in complex environments with critical integrations and high transactional volumes.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with credit systems, collections, financial reconciliation or asset recovery.
  • Experience with mainframe (high-platform) environments.
  • Experience in technology modernization initiatives, especially migrations from high to low platform and/or cloud.
  • Experience defining and tracking OKRs, KPIs and technical metrics.
  • Experience with cloud computing.
  • Experience operating at large scale and high-volume operations.
